Thomas Eric Duncan an African man's Ebola tragedy by Walt Barrett

Thomas Eric Duncan Was not a white man, He was an African Black man and I'm sure he did not have a big time health insurance plan. Mr. Duncan went to an accident room in a fair sized hospital in Texas. He was displaying symptoms and complaints that any child who watches the evening news would recognize as Ebola and basically he was rejected and sent home where he could possibly infect his entire family and others that may have been in contact with. Is this the standard operating policy in accident rooms for poor blacks in this country? What kind of message is the medical industry sending? The message that I am getting is that medicine really is about money and denial of treatment. Personally, I am very concerned about the treatment of the poor people. Just think, Thomas Eric Duncan might still be alive if he had been treated like a human being!
May his soul rest in peace.
